Marmite Is Art.
An artist has used the format of Marmite to express himself.
Dermot Flynn's work will be displayed at a gallery in London.
Famous faces on the toast include Simon Cowell, Baroness Thatcher, Pete Doherty, Victoria Beckham, Gordon Ramsay, Charlotte Church and James Blunt.
According to the BBC, Mr Flynn chose ten celebritiies for his work entitled, 'Marmart'.
The Marmite art exhibition is at London's Air Gallery until October 28.
They look good enough to eat.

I suspect this is using the new squeezable marmite available in local supermarkets. Very commendable but one does have to ask the question why !!!???

I suspect you are right Egg. Not particularly good form that. I'd go as far as to say that he is a cheat.
As to why? Well Marmite is the new paint. Thought everyone knew that.

I fear AF that it will have been treated with some ghastly preservative thus making this delicious yeast extract based spread inedible :-(

Are you completely sure that's Marmite? It could equally be Vegemite. We all know that's a much better substance both for eating and for making faces on your toast. :)

No it's definitely the far better Marmite Stell. The man in question actually called his creation "Marmart" rather than "Vegimart". You'l have to get used to Marmite when you come to the UK. we'll convert you yet :-)
