New Ink

I've just had my seventh tattoo. It is a mixture of Polynesian and Japanese symbols and the work was done, as usual, by the rather excellent Giselle at Shamanic Body Art in Westcliff.

Thanks also to Lady B's Editor for sending me the mobile phone photos I sent her back to me by email.

Amazing! Every time I go to the MRI unit for a scan they say "Don't suppose you've had any piercings or tattoos since last time?"

How great would it be to say "Actually, yes!", then whip up a sleeve and show them something like that!

Unfortunately, I'm way too wimpy to even contemplate letting someone loose on my arm with a needle.

I'm a bit addicted to them I'm afraid. This is my seventh tattoo now and my third this year.

I'll eventually get a half sleeve on my right arm I think, which will mean have the underneath tattooed but that reall bloody hurts aparently. My most painful tattoo was probably the one on my right calf. It especially hurts up by behind the knee thingy. It does smart a bit.

I do hope you don't get bored with some of your ink !

What percentage of your body is covered by the 'tats' now MB ?

Plenty to go yet EF. If I added them all together I suspect I's fill up a complete arm. Might be a bit of a squeeze though. THe back tat is quite big.

casdok,

Thanks for dropping by. I imagine I will be getting some more done. At the moment the plan is to get a half-sleeve on my right upper arm. This will mean a few more additions to the tattoo pictured (including the bit underneath, Ouch!)
